Nice to meet you

I am Damon, a web designer and developer based on the Gold Coast. What started as building Shopify stores for myself, friends, and family slowly uncovered something I did not expect: a passion for creating digital experiences.

The pull was never just the code. It was the mix of craft, taste, problem solving, and creative input that a small business often needs when it is trying to look sharper, move faster, or sell more clearly online.

There is a very specific satisfaction in seeing a brand improve its metrics because of work you helped shape. Better conversion. Better clarity. More trust. A website that finally feels like the business behind it. That feeling is hard to beat.

The shift

Creative Index was founded at the end of 2025. At the start of 2026, after a decade working across other sectors including mining and construction, I moved into the studio full time.

The aim is simple: make digital work that feels good, functions properly, and helps small businesses build real momentum.
